Got a Nexus 10 for Christmas!!!
« on: December 25, 2012, 05:30:08 PM »
Hi everyone,

My name is Kaleb and I am new here. I got a Nexus 10 for Christmas, my previous tablet was a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. I like it a lot, the screen is gorgeous and it is very fast!! My only complaint is that I can't unlock the boot loader and root it because my iMac G5 is too old ( because of this, I'm unable to load my current game play in several games from my Galaxy Tab like Bingo Bash, Bingo Blitz, Coin Dozer, Deer Hunter Reloaded and Party Place. If anyone has any suggestions for me, that would be great! Other than that, I am very happy with the tablet!!! Merry Christmas everybody!!!

Welcome Kaleb!  Nice to have you in the forum.  You should find it much easier rooting your Nexus 10.  Looking forward to you being part of our community!

Here Is a video tutorial for Mac, that may be helpful.

If you have access to a Windows computer,  I suggest Mark Skippen's Root Toolkit at www.skipsoft.net. I used it without any problems.

Cool thanks, I think I'll have to wait until I have access to a different computer.
