New to Nexus 10 and forum
« on: March 11, 2013, 11:55:35 AM »
Hello all!

I'm an old hand at Android, recently decided to upgrade from my considerably dated Nook Color (which I had rooted and was running CM 7.2)

I mostly used the NC for comics, books, and light online reading, so I never had a need to upgrade before now. I'm hoping to discover all kinds of new things to do on the Nexus 10.

I'm currently investigating custom ROMs for the Nexus, and so far SentinelROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2121638) seems like the best choice for me. Any suggestions?

Glad to have you InkPot. I used Mark Skippen's toolkit to my Nexus 10 and chose to donate, so that I keep the latest version for my Nexus 10 and 7. I have used custom ROMíS on several phones, but due to the lack of bloatware on the Nexus devices I have stayed with the stock ROM. It will be interesting to hear about your experience with a custom ROM on the Nexus 10.

AOKP has been really nice on both of my Nexus 7 and 10, lots of ability to add different mods to your device. Very smooth with no glitches. There are several choices out there.
