Hi everyone, my name is Steed, I picked up my N10 2 weeks ago and so far love it. So far I have had a few issues with crashing programs but nothing major. I have been been quite busy as of lately so I have not had a real good chance to dig into all the ins and outs. And not sure if I should root it or not, does anyone have any insite?

If you root you can backup everything with Titanium backup, that is just one of the perks. But as the Nexus devices are already pretty bloat free they came sweet from the factory. If one program seems to crash a lot, simply uninstall then reinstall, this typically stops a crashing issue.

Glad to have you Steed. I rooted my Nexus 10 just after taking it out of the box. Mark Skippen's Root Toolkit is as close as you can get to a one click root.
