Light bleeding
« on: December 03, 2012, 04:58:38 PM »
Just received the tablet this morning and is hidden until xmas, was just wondering if any one has gotten theirs recently and seen the light bleeding mentioned over on XDA? trying to figure out if I should open it up and look it over just to be on the safe side, so xmas morning won't be a disappointment.  :'(

Keeping my fingers crossed, I haven't always had the best of luck with hardware.

My first Nexus7 developed the touch screen issue, and swapped it out through Google.

I would be very surprised if you didn't have some sort of issue. I've had 2 with fairly bad light bleed, and one of them had a dim edge along the camera side. I'm definitely not alone with these issues, I'd check just to make sure.

Well finally got it out of the daughter's hands, set up an account for my self, it does have a small amount of light bleed at the bottom right corner in landscape, she doesn't care, should I go through the headache of trying to get replaced?

If she doesn't notice it  I wouldn't.
