it's no rumor any longer...the Nexus 10 is real!  Briefmobile got its hands on Google and Samsung's new 10 inch Android device and has given us our first look at the Nexus super tablet.  Featuring rounded edges and a black bezel that are slightly reminiscent of the Nexus 7 the Nexus 10 does in fact include the rumored 2560 x 1600 resolution display.  What technology the display uses is unknown as of now.  The back seems to be a metallic or metallic-plastic finish with a strip of 'nexus 7' like backing up top near the rear camera.  One surprise is the presence of stereo speakers right up front which should provide some good quality sound for multimedia use.  Here's a full breakdown of specs that are known at this time...

Nexus 10 Features:

Samsung Exynos 5250 Processor
- Clocked at 1.7 GHz
- Dual-core Cortex-A15
- Mali-T604 GPU

16GB internal storage (other options possible)

10.1-inch display
- 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution
- 298.9 pixels-per-inch

5-megapixel rear-facing camera
- LED flash

Front-facing camera

Bluetooth 4.0

Dual speakers located on front of device

The heart of the Nexus 10 is no doubt the Exynos 5250 1.7GHz ARM Cortex A-15 processor with its MALI-T604 GPU.  This is a 'next generation' processor which should handily outperform even the likes of the Tegra 3 in the Nexus 7.  It'll need that power of course in order to drive that super high resolution screen which sports an amazing 'ipad besting' 300 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) resolution.  Other specs worth noting are the MicroHDMI and MicroUSB, a pogo pin connector for a future docking option and of course WiFi.  Unsurprisingly there is no MicroSD card slot in keeping with Google's attempts to persuade customers to use their Google Play Store for their content purchases and Google Drive for storage.  We can't wait to get our hands on the Nexus 10.  Make sure you come back to Nexus10Forum.net for all the latest as google introduces its first 10 inch super tablet to the world!
