Android 5.0 Lollipop
« on: November 21, 2014, 04:55:35 PM »
Updated my Nexus 5, 7 and 10 today to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Didn't use the OTAs, but took a Titanium backup, flashed stock Android via WugFresh's NRT, rooted and then restored from the Titanium backup.

Had a few issues where the toolkit couldn't see the device in adb and fastboot modes, but all sorted after removing drivers etc.

So, Lollipops all round.

Excellent, Wugs did all mine as well, but not so well with my old GNex, probably have to play with the drivers more too.

Has Lollipop helped your 10?
Mine was on the chopping block before and I as ready to pull the trigger on the 9.  It would freeze up at will a couple times a day, and the battery would show at 50-60% then die.  I have used the Tablet a lot and know batteries die after lots of use but it was odd.  After Lollipop, only one freeze after over a weeks use, and that could have been app uses. And batter hasn't done the drop yet, although I'm used to keeping a power cable close and connected now after a few hours use...
